Bonnie the Plant Lady has a degree from the University of Minnesota and has over 30 years experience in garden design, installation and care. She has been Bonnie the Plant Lady for KAXE Northern Community Radio of Grand Rapids, Brainerd and Bemidji since 1984. Together with her husband Terry, Bonnie owns Sunshine Gardens Nursery and Landscaping north of Pine River. They are the largest local source for quality cultivar and Minnesota native perennials, grasses, annuals, trees, shrubs ,vines and herbs including shoreland plants all grown with sustainable and organic fertilizers and pesticides.
Interests: Reading,knitting,walking,biking, cross country skiing,growing food especially carrots,garlic herbs and houseplants.
